Sai Ying Pun Waterfront Park
Busy times
About this place
Opened at the end of 2025 or early 2026, Sai Ying Pun Waterfront Park is a 1.32-hectare harborfront public space managed by the LCSD. It connects Sun Yat Sen Memorial Park to the Central and Western District Promenade. The park is a major highlight for families due to its inclusive intergenerational layout, featuring creative attractions like the 'Sea of Clouds' outdoor bouncing trampoline, dedicated sand and water sensory play zones, and sunset slides overlooking Victoria Harbour.
Things to know
Bring Extra Clothes
The park has active water and sand play sensory tables. Kids will highly likely get wet and sandy, so a change of clothes and a towel are recommended.
No Pre-Booking for Bouncing
The popular 'Sea of Clouds' trampoline operates entirely on a first-come, first-served basis with no reservation options. Expect queues of 30 or more minutes during peak times.
Strict Supervision and Sessions
The inflatable zone only accommodates up to 20 children at a time, and play sessions are restricted to 10 minutes. All children must be accompanied by an adult guardian aged 18 or above.
Avoid Maintenance Breaks
Plan your visit around the twice-daily cleaning closures of the trampoline, which take place from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM and 5:00 PM to 5:45 PM.
