Fence Safety Notes

The concrete guard wall combined with the metal fence reaches a total height of approximately 1.6 meters, which is lower than modern developments. Please ensure children do not climb or stand near the outer walls.

Be Mindful of the Heat

Because it is an unshaded rooftop, the playground can get very hot. The best visiting hours are early morning (8:00 AM to 10:00 AM) or late afternoon (after 4:00 PM).

No Onsite Shops

There are no retail kiosks or vending machines on the rooftop. Be sure to pack water, sun protection, and mosquito repellent. Food and drinks are available on the lower floors of the wet market.

Weather-Dependent

Since it is completely exposed, the playground will clear out or close during heavy rainfall or amber (or higher) weather warnings.

By MTR

Take the Kwun Tong Line to Choi Hung MTR Station and leave via Exit B. The Ngau Chi Wan Municipal Services Building is immediately adjacent to the exit (about a 1 to 2-minute walk).

Multiple routes stop directly outside at the Ngau Chi Wan Market or Choi Hung Station stops, including 3M, 9, 10, 21, 26, 26M, 27, 29M, 42, 88, 91, 91M, 92, 95, 213D, 214, 290, 290A, 290X, and Citybus 111.

By car

Drive along Clear Water Bay Road. Since there is no general public parking in the building, park at the Choi Hung Park and Ride Public Car Park (8 Clear Water Bay Road) or the Choi Hung Estate Multi-storey Car Park, then walk over.

Taxis can drop off passengers at the general vehicle layby on Clear Water Bay Road in front of the market. Take the elevator or escalators up to the 3rd floor rooftop.
