Fully redeveloped and completed between 2023 and 2025, Ma Chai Hang Recreation Ground is a modern, multi-generational community space. Families can let children explore the outdoor play structures, play on the open green turf, or access the air-conditioned, forest-themed indoor Children's Play Room located in the newly opened adjacent Sports Centre.

Admission to both the outdoor playground and the indoor Forest-themed Play Room is 100% free.
Indoor Playroom Tickets
The indoor forest play area has a maximum capacity of 30 children per session. Tickets are distributed on-site 15 minutes before each session on a first-come, first-served basis.
10-Minute Grace Period
If you have an indoor session ticket but do not show up within 10 minutes after the session starts, your ticket is voided and given to waiting families.
Baby Care Accommodations
The Sports Centre contains 2 dedicated, modern Baby Care Rooms, as well as universal and accessible toilets.

Getting here
Alight at Wong Tai Sin MTR Station (Exit B1) and take a straightforward 10-minute walk north along Ma Chai Hang Road.
Take bus routes 1, 2B, 7M, 11C, 11K, or 211, which stop directly at or near Ma Chai Hang Road.
Drive towards Ma Chai Hang Road. Since there is no onsite public parking, drivers can park at nearby estates like Tin Wang Court or Chuk Yuen Estate, or use roadside metered parking.
Taxis can drop off passengers directly outside the entrance on Ma Chai Hang Road.
