About this place

Located in Jordan Valley, Ngau Tau Kok, this neighborhood park was built on the former site of the Jordan Valley Factory Building and spans approximately 2,300 square meters. It is managed by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department (LCSD). Families visit to let children play in the children's playground, which famously features a long, straight slide and a dedicated hand-washing basin, while elderly visitors enjoy the fitness trail and foot massage pebble path. Residents also frequently gather under the covered pavilion to relax.

Things to know

Onsite Child Hygiene

There is a dedicated children's hand-washing sink installed right at the entrance of the children's playground, making it incredibly convenient to clean up before and after playtime.

Pack Essentials

There is no retail shop directly inside the sitting-out area. Parents should pack water bottles, sun hats, and mosquito repellent (especially between April and October). Nearby Amoy Plaza is just a short walk away.

Beat the Hong Kong Humidity

Because the playground is fully outdoor with limited shade over the active play equipment, the best windows to visit are 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM or after 4:00 PM.

Check Rainfall Warnings

The park is entirely outdoors and has no indoor play alternative. It is recommended to check the Hong Kong Observatory app; the playground empties quickly during Amber Rainfall warnings or above.

Good to know

Is there a fee?
No. Public playgrounds in Hong Kong are free to enter and run by the LCSD.
What ages is this best for?
Most LCSD playgrounds suit ages 2 to 12, with separate toddler and older kid equipment. The exact setup varies by site.
Are there toilets nearby?
Usually yes. Most LCSD parks have public toilets within a five minute walk, and the nearest MTR station is a good backup.
What is the best time to go?
Mornings before noon are cooler and quieter, and late afternoon after the school rush works well too. In summer, avoid roughly noon to 3pm.
